Christmas in Svendborg

Svendborg is worth a visit any time of year, but the town is truly magic around Christmas. Throughout December, the streets are decorated with spruce garlands, and a number of large trees and buildings have been fitted with Christmas lights. If you need a little help getting into the Christmas spirit, just visit Svendborg!

We kick off the Christmas celebrations on 29 November 2019 when we light the large Christmas tree on the town square, and you can look forward to many more activities in December, including a visit from Santa Claus, a Christmas parade with Santa’s elves marching through the streets, old-school Christmas markets, and lots more.
