Explore South Fyn’s varied landscape by bike, where forests, coastlines and small villages form a string of memorable experiences. New views and stories await around every bend.

A String of Eye-Openers is a cycling route through some of South Fyn’s distinctive landscapes and cultural environments. The route passes through forests, along the coast and by small communities where nature and history are closely connected.
Along the way, cyclists pass Vejstrup Vandmølle, a watermill with roots dating back to the 16th century that now operates as a museum. The surrounding Vejstrup Ådal was shaped during the last Ice Age and offers a varied landscape of valleys and woodland.
The route also passes Elsehoved Fyr, which has guided sailors between Fyn and Langeland since 1894. Through Brændeskov and Rantzausmindeskov, the route showcases South Fyn’s woodland landscapes with opportunities for outdoor recreation and nature experiences.
