Get around in Svendborg

You can get around Svendborg in many ways, on land and at sea.

Car

You can park your car in the different parking spaces and parking lots around town. Please notice that some of the parking spaces are time-limited and/or are subject to payment.

Train and bus

Trains depart for Odense at half-hour intervals, with several stops along the way. The train station is located in the town centre, between the pedestrian zone and the harbour (Klosterplads 10, 5700 Svendborg).


Svendborg and the surrounding area are serviced by local buses. For information about the different bus lines, go to Fynbus’ website. The bus station is located right next to the train station.

Walk around

You can get around on foot as well. Stroll through the charming streets and alleys of central Svendborg, or take a brisk walk on one of the many hiking trails around the archipelago. You can pick up The Archipelago Map containing route descriptions for free at the tourist office.

Taxi
