Boat trip, island life and bird life on Drejø and Skarø
Experience the idyll of island life. Visiting the small islands in the archipelago is almost like travelling back in time. Here, the absence of traffic and modern urban renewal makes room for nature, lush bird life and old architectural styles that stand as historical witnesses.
Scenic views, biodiversity, and powerful experiences
Explore the Geopark's unique ice age landscape at Egebjerg Mølle and Rødme Svinehaver. And while you're in the area, don't miss a trip among the treetops at Gorilla Klatrepark and the popular mountain bike trail Skovhuggeren.
Geology, antiquity, and coffee at the castle
Explore the geological landscape of Klintholm Kalkgrave, which provides an insight into the fascinating history of the Earth. Step back in time to when Denmark was flooded by the seas, populated by sharks, and when dramatic geological events changed the tropical climate into an ice-cold polar landscape. Then head to Broholm Castle for coffee and cake and a truly extraordinary collection of antiquities.
Wild nature, birdlife, and old country roads
Cross the picturesque Svendborgsund Bridge to Tåsinge and experience Funen's largest salt marsh, Monnet, which has been protected since 1983. Here you can experience a rich bird and animal life and be captivated by the undisturbed beauty of nature. Stop by Nørreskoven on your way home and pull in at Storms Hjørne in Troense to enjoy an ice cream.
